Happy Holidays
The CAMEO Staff wishes you a warm and joyous holiday season with family and friends (from left to right: Heidi, Shufina, Claudia and Andrew). We look forward to 2014 and the possibilities it brings!
Thanks to Nancy Swift who had our third ‘buy local for the holidays‘ op-ed published in her local paper! Page A7 of the Mount Shasta Herald
Take one last peek at our shop local guide for the 2013 Holiday Season.
And here’s a little ‘shop indie’ holiday reading, as I bet many of you are shopping on Etsy for gifts. They published a report about the economic impact of their businesses: Etsy-based micro-businesses generate almost $900 million in revenue!
Due to the holidays, the Must Know will be on vacation until the week of January 6, 2013.
FY2014-2015 Federal Budget – Take Action!
Take two minutes to do one more thing before the holidays as our legislators will be working on appropriations over the next few weeks. AEO has made it super easy to let the committee leaders and other legislators know that you want to “Ensure Critical FY2014 Funding for Business Assistance to Our Nation’s Entrepreneurs.” CAMEO is advocating for slightly different amounts for the budget than AEO based on what we think is possible in this political climate.
