CRC’s Corporate and Policy Campaign Researcher will conduct research using various data sets to support existing CRC campaigns, and to help inform future campaigns. The Research Analyst will work with existing data sets and CRC allies and members to help us better understand our rapidly consolidating property ownership landscape in California, the impacts that this dynamic has on low income tenants, potential homebuyers, and communities of color, and the role that financial institutions play. The Research Analyst will also support CRC’s ongoing work to hold banks accountable to their obligations under the Community Reinvestment Act, fair housing, fair lending, and consumer protection laws. To that end, the Research Analyst will help identify whether banks are well serving communities, redlining communities, or otherwise harming communities.
