February 27, 2020 2020 CDFI Coalition Institute
The 2020 CDFI Coalition Institute will take place on February 27-28, 2020, at the Washington Plaza Hotel, located at 10 Thomas Circle NW in Washington, D.C. The Institute is a two-day event designed to bring real-time information to CDFIs that promotes substantive policy discussions, reflection on industry practices and strategies for the future, as well as offering time to cultivate relationships with fellow community development professionals. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with key federal agency and congressional staff, CDFI industry experts and a host of informative speakers throughout the conference.
February 27, 2020 Exploring the Secret Ingredients for Healthy Jobs
Healthy jobs have been proven to create healthy communities. Research has shown by creating jobs that pay living wages with growth opportunities for workers and that are both physically and mentally healthy, chronic disease rates can be decreased. How are you contributing to long-term stable jobs in the Bay Area? We all can play a role in creating and sustaining healthy jobs, but it is sometimes challenging to know-how. This event is open to the public and designed for anyone who is interested in improving their organizations and communities by creating and sustaining healthy jobs.
