Take Action: Sign On to Protect Small Business Borrowers
CAMEO Network is co-sponsoring AB 2116 alongside Small Business Majority and the Responsible Business Lending Coalition. “Non-loan” financing products escape the oversight applied to traditional loans, leaving small business owners vulnerable to the same predatory practices once common in subprime mortgage markets. AB 2116 would close that gap by requiring these companies to register with the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). Sign our coalition letter and help us build a fairer financial marketplace in California.
