Welcome Steven Abbott to the CAMEO Board of Directors
Please join us in welcoming Steven Abbott, Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Gusto, as the newest member of CAMEO Network’s Board of Directors!
Throughout his career, Steven has worked to improve economic outcomes for underserved consumers and businesses. Steven will serve a three-year term on the Board through 2027.
Please also join us in thanking Julian Canete and Josh Danielson, who termed off at the end of 2024.

We kick off 2025 with exciting news about CAMEO staff!
We welcome Rachel Aherin as CAMEO Network’s Director of Strategy and Impact. Rachel worked with us as a consultant for the last six months and joins us officially to drive our strategic work. Some of you may have met her at our November conference – if not, you’re missing out!
Three of our staff members are also starting the year with new titles:

Unlock Your Leadership Potential: Series 2
Series 2 of our leadership training starts January 14, 2025!
Designed for emerging and mid-level leaders, this training will help you navigate conflict, cultivate effective communication, understand management styles, and enhance other skills to build confidence.
CAMEO members are eligible for a 50% discount to enroll in this series.
CDFI Fund’s CDFI Certification Webinars
The CDFI Fund has announced additional dates and topics for its monthly CDFI Certification conference calls and webinars, offering guidance for organizations applying for CDFI Certification or Recertification. These sessions provide a forum to ask questions and gain insights into the application process.
Each session will include a detailed walkthrough of specific aspects of the revised CDFI Certification Application, followed by Q&A. Organizations are encouraged to submit specific questions via a Service Report in the AMIS system for detailed responses.
