SB 972 Passes
Senate Bill 972 – the Enhancing Safety of Sidewalk Food Vending Bill passed the Assembly Floor and Senate Concurrence last week and is now on the governor’s desk.

There was quite a lot of interest across the state in news of SB 972 passing. Carolina was quoted talking about the bill in a KTLA 5 article. “Yesterday’s passage of SB 972 is a historic win for California’s street vendors. More importantly, street vending creates economic opportunity for those who face systemic barriers to starting a business: women, immigrants, people of color, and others.”
Carolina was also featured in a Telemundo 48 article on how CAMEO has inspired hispanic entrepreneurs to accomplish their goals.
