Infrastructure Bill Passes; California Rebuilding Fund Train the Trainer

Infrastructure Bill

Congress passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act), a once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s infrastructure and competitiveness.

California will receive more than $25 billion to repair roads and highways and over $600 million to prepare transportation systems for extreme weather, drought and wildfire. Read more in Governor Newsom’s statement.

We’re especially excited about the $100 million going to broadband that will help rural and low-income areas strengthen their online presence. Infrastructure is crucial on connecting small businesses to markets (one of the 5 C’s of a local entrepreneurial ecosystem).
