Last Chance to Apply: Climate Resiliency Cohort
With billions in funding available from the federal government, our network must prepare!
Join CAMEO’s Climate Resiliency cohort to learn how to incorporate climate resiliency training into your small business program. The deadline to apply is TOMORROW EOD!
The Climate Resiliency cohort is designed to build capacity for climate resiliency in the mission-driven small business ecosystem and close the gap between the small business ecosystem and climate resiliency infrastructure.
Applicants commit to participating in cohort activities, reporting on how they incorporate climate resiliency training into their small business program, and reporting on client outcomes. Participants will receive $5,000 for participating in the cohort.
You must be a CAMEO member to participate.
2024 Advocacy Day: Recap
Last week, CAMEO Network held our annual Advocacy Day bringing together over 60 small business leaders in Sacramento. It was a huge success – thanks to all those that attended!
We welcomed DFPI Commissioner Clothilde Hewlett, and Maria Gallegos Herrera, USDA State Director for California to speak at the morning portion of the event. In the afternoon, our attendees met with more than 40 legislative offices in the Capitol to advocate on behalf of the most vulnerable small businesses.
Read the full event recap in our CAMEO Blog, including steps you can take to support our advocacy efforts.

- Use this template to submit a letter of support for SB 1246 (Limon), which strengthens and expands the scope of the California Prompt Payment Act.
Finally, congratulations to MEHKO advocates (including CAMEO Network member COOK Alliance) in Los Angeles and Contra Costa counties, where Micro Enterprise Home Kitchen Operations were recently approved!
