Climate, Community and Economic Resilience Series
The California Small Business Coalition for Racial Justice – led by CAMEO Network – and The Greenlining Institute launched the Climate, Community and Economic Resilience (CCER) Series during LA Climate Week. This strategic partnership focuses on advancing equitable climate finance and strengthening community resilience for small businesses of color. Through training, community engagement, and data collection, the CCER series aims to shape policy recommendations and broaden access to climate-related capital.
Do you offer a green lending product? Are you doing work related to climate resiliency or disaster preparedness? Then please reach out to Antonio Aguilar to be considered as a speaker for a future CCER webinar.

CAMEO Network on Capitol Hill
CAMEO Network CEO Carolina Martinez and VP of External Relations Heidi Pickman were in D.C. last week meeting with several House and Senate offices to discuss the value of CDFIs, WBCs, SBDCs, and rural programs to our nation’s economy and the need to keep those programs funded. The good news is that these programs have broad support. They also spent time talking to California Representative Adam Schiff about the importance of the Community Reinvestment Act during a gathering hosted by NCRC.
