New Training Series: CDFI Microlending Operations & Portfolio Management
Join our National CDFI Academy for a comprehensive 10-part series designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in CDFI microlending operations and portfolio management. Register for:

State Advocacy Updates
- SB 1482 (Glazer): This bill will establish a framework of transparency for brokers, put non-loan financing companies under the purview of DFPI, and close loopholes in price disclosure regulations. Sign on to support.
- SB 1103 (Menjivar): This bill will protect commercial tenants by expanding translation requirements, limiting security deposits, and increasing notice periods for contract termination. Sign on to support.
- State Budget: Ask the State of California to invest $1.5 million to fund the newly-created Employee Ownership Hub.
Bring MEHKOs to Your County!
CAMEO and COOK Alliance are seeking community-based organizations to join the MEHKO Advocacy Cohort and advocate for the establishment of a MEHKO program in counties where MEHKOs are not currently legal.
Cohort members will be trained on an advocacy toolbox to create a MEHKO program in their jurisdictions. Participants will receive $5,000 to facilitate their participation.
