Raise Your Voice for Small Businesses
The recent proposed cuts to the Small Business Technical Assistance Program (TAP) and the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) make it critical to get face time with our legislators so we can speak up for the issues that matter most to our sector.
Three ways to help:
- TODAY at 3:30pm we are hosting a Network Call to discuss the proposed cuts to the TAP program.
- Submit a letter of opposition by tomorrow, May 17, 2024.
- Join us June 5, 2024 in Sacramento for the 2024 CAMEO Advocacy Day!
We also want to announce our newest Advocacy Day guest speaker – Maria Gallegos Herrera, USDA California State Director!
Join CAMEO’s Climate Resiliency Cohort
With $27b from the Federal government going to states through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, California’s small business ecosystem needs infrastructure and knowledge to use these funds to educate and provide access to capital to small businesses, especially those in disadvantaged communities, to participate in climate resiliency efforts.
Join CAMEO’s Climate Resiliency cohort to learn how to incorporate climate resiliency training into your small business program. The deadline to apply is June 14, 2024.
