The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) will celebrate veteran businesses for their successes in a business expo to be held at the Roble Winery in Lincoln, California, on October 18, 2019, announced VBOC CEO, Coreena Conley.  The event will put the spotlight on the veterans’ resourcefulness and passion for solving problems and making their businesses profitable as quickly as possible.

“Veteran-owned businesses are an important contributor to our national economic strength,” Conley noted.  “We at the VBOC have had the privilege of working with a number of innovative, dynamic, and successful companies started and grown by veterans. We will use this event to both celebrate their successes and offer all veteran business owners, as well as those considering starting or buying a business, insights into how to meet and exceed their business goals.”

There will be three panel presentations along with a luncheon keynote speaker and a post-event wine tasting:

  • Veteran business owners share their success stories
  • A forecast on the Sacramento region’s economy and business opportunities
  • Cybersecurity: protecting your business in the Digital Age

Early-bird tickets will cost $49; after September 1, 2019, the price will be $75. Tickets can be purchased on the VBOC website.

VBOC’s mission is to advance the growth and commercial competitiveness of veteran-owned small business enterprises through education and services focusing on workforce improvement, business development, technology deployment, and e-commerce.

The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Program is partially funded by an award from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Veterans Business Development (OVBD), and manages one of twenty VBOC programs nationwide. The VBOC is also partially funded by a grant from the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.
