Join us on Thursday, September 19, to learn about the different ways Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) support the small business community. Small businesses serve as an engine to the economy by creating jobs and spurring economic activity and opportunities.
CDFIs often serve as conduits of flexible capital to communities and individuals not well served by traditional financial systems. The role of small business-focused CDFIs became increasingly visible during the COVID-19 pandemic and they continue to play a key role in supporting local economic development ecosystems, particularly for underserved small business owners.
Designed for lenders, community-based organizations, and key partners serving small businesses, this event will explore ways to tap into the local economic ecosystem and highlight successful partnership models between CDFIs and municipalities to strengthen small business and economic growth.
This event is hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Working Solutions CDFI, and East Bay Economic Development Alliance.
