Our gathering is more important given the crazy 18 months we have experienced. Our 2020 MicroLenders Forum was scheduled for the week before California shut down and had to be canceled by our host. It’s long past due for us to meet again as a large group.
As we’re still living in a world of uncertainty because of the pandemic, we’re hosting a virtual forum and hope you’ll join us.
We’ll have small and large group discussions about underwriting and risk management in a new reality in which we’re living with the effects of COVID and a focus on racial justice.
The Federal Reserve will present new California data from the Small Business Credit Survey, how it looks compared to national trends, and we’ll discuss how that might affect how lenders react.
Additionally, we’ve invited some high profile speakers who are at the forefront of small business policy at the state and national level. Our first announced speaker is Scott Wu, Executive Director, IBank. We should be hearing from the US Treasury regarding guidance on SSBCI and Credit TA anyday. Mr. Wu will share his thoughts on the state application and take questions.
