As Helen Keller wisely said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This sentiment was echoed by all of us during our last virtual listening session, and we look forward to continuing the conversation in person at Neighbors and Friends in Old Town Pasadena—LA’s first build-your-own cheese box bar and community hub. Their mission to support local artisans and underserved makers has been a cornerstone of their business since Spring 2024. Recently, they pivoted to provide mutual aid efforts and meals to families in need, ensuring that nobody is left behind, despite the challenges they face from the wildfires that were only 2 miles from them.
Join us on February 20, 2025, for an engaging session where we can strengthen our collaboration and continue supporting our communities during this recovery period.
Location and Parking Details:
- Location: 88 E. Union Pasadena, CA 91103, on the corner of Union and Raymond (next to LT9, their business doesn’t yet have signage).
- Street Parking: Ample street parking is available for $1 per hour. Meters accept card payments, and the Passport Parking app is highly recommended. It allows you to pay easily and will notify you when your meter is running low.
- Parking Lot: There is a parking lot directly above the business that charges $10 for the day. Card payments are accepted.
