We the Future
This year’s theme, We the Future, expresses our aspirations for a nation where all communities have the opportunity to participate in the creation of healthy, thriving, and resilient lives. It builds on the belief that we have the wisdom, potential and power to actively shape our lives and neighborhoods, even in the face of adversity. And by embracing the growing diversity of our experiences, we can shape more inclusive and equitable solutions for the future. We will explore the theme across three major areas: Power, Resilience, and Prosperity — key components of a future where race is never a barrier to economic opportunity.
We understand that our long-term success depends not on one election or one leader, but on our collective movement towards justice. The time is now to set the course for our future rooted in equity.
