Reporting to SVP, Partnerships & Strategic Growth, the Director, Partner Engagement & Acquisition will manage and expand AOF’s portfolio of referral partners, with a focus on originating SBA loans and building strong partnerships with equipment dealers across key sectors including food and beverage, healthcare equipment (small to mid-size), trade and construction equipment, and other medium to light-duty assets. This individual will bring a well-established network of referral partners from one or more of these industries and a proven track record of understanding credit needs for small businesses and the partners that serve them. The Director will be responsible for developing new partnerships, driving small and middle market customer acquisition, and ensuring seamless onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement. Success in this role will require deep knowledge of the drivers of successful small business lending, strong relationship management, and a focus on partnership growth, productivity, and quality. Working cross-functionally with marketing, credit, operations and advising teams, the Director will ensure partners are fully supported to deliver results and continuously identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and expand loan originations.
