Annissa Durar has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kansas State University. She previously worked with Yelp as a Marketing Assistant, where she connected members of the Kansas City community to local businesses by hosting community events and featuring them on social media channels. She is extremely passionate about the growth of micro-businesses and the importance they play in every community. Outside of work she enjoys film photography to capture her time traveling abroad. She has spent time in Guatemala learning about indigenous textile traditions, and time in Bali teaching environmental education.
