Douglas Craven is the Director of CDFI Programs at CAMEO Network. In this role, he leads initiatives that strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of mission-driven lenders, with a focus on microlending, technical assistance, and strategic partnerships. With a deep understanding of community development finance, Douglas designs and delivers training programs, facilitates peer learning, and supports strategic alignment across the field. His work is grounded in a commitment to equitable access to capital and the development of thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems.


Prior to joining CAMEO Network in January 2024, Douglas spent over 12 years at ECDI. As Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Fundraising, he led efforts to cultivate new relationships, secure diverse funding sources, and manage proposal development. He collaborated across departments to ensure accurate data collection and effective program implementation. In addition to his partnership responsibilities, Douglas oversaw the operations of ECDI’s Business Incubation & Innovation Center, which housed the organization’s comprehensive small business training services. He is passionate about curriculum development and ensuring the industry remains a guiding resource for entrepreneurs who have historically been excluded from traditional financial opportunities.
