The California Coalition for Community Investment (CCCI) is excited to announce our Second Annual Summit, which will be hosted at Self-Help Credit Union’s Bank in Wilmington, CA, a community in Los Angeles County, not far from the Long Beach Airport. The Summit will gather together CDFI leaders and practitioners from across the state to discuss important topics of interest to the CDFI industry, state agencies, policymakers, and philanthropy.
This year’s day-long Building Together Summit will feature a keynote speaker, plenary presentations on emerging CDFI topics, an update on CCCI’s upcoming strategic planning process, and small group breakouts on topics of interest to our members.
CCCI is California’s only statewide CDFI coalition. It consists of more than 40 organizations dedicated to sharing expertise, harnessing the power of supporters, and speaking with a unified voice to promote policy changes. The coalition unites diverse leaders to network, exchange industry ideas, and advocate to ensure California’s low-income, BIPOC, urban, rural and Tribal communities are resilient, healthy and housed, and have access to economic opportunities. CCCI members provide financing, technical assistance, and other support services focused on facilitating access to capital for underserved communities.
