Support Independent Biz
This Fourth of July, I’m highlighting some data for you to reference on the benefits of indie businesses. Celebrate locally this holiday. Also scroll down to the Goodies where we have a bunch of upcoming resources listed for your clients.
- Studies show that local business returns twice as much to the local economy than national chain stores.
- Cities where small, locally owned businesses account for a relatively large share of the economy have stronger social networks, more engaged citizens, and better success solving problems, according to several recently published studies.
- And more studies on various topics such as wages, benefits, prices, etc…

Our deadline for the annual survey is July 31, 2013. Many, many thanks to those of you who have already filled it out
We offer two communication benefits for our members this year. We are opening up our online calendar to our members to enter their events and classes. And we continue to offer our press release service. Download this document to learn more.
