As a proud member of Santa Clara Pueblo (Kha’P’o Owingeh), Mauricia brings over 24 years of expertise in accounting, finance, grants and contracts management, public utilities, and enterprise development. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in fostering business development within her community, creating educational opportunities for young people, and providing training for her peers. Her influence extends to several significant boards, including the Association of Government Accountants, the Sovereign Women in Finance Tribunal, the Tribal Leadership Council, the Santa Clara Development Corporation and Utility Authority, Kha’P’o Construction, and the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico. With degrees in business administration and executive education from Harvard Business School, she is deeply committed to building sustainable economies and supporting the next generation through mentorship.
